Mrs. Myrtle Moore Buried at Criswell
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle C. Moore of Marlin were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Adams Chapel in Marlin. Rev. Lloyd Chapman officiated and interment was in Criswell Cemetery near Mart.
Mrs. Moore died on Monday in a Baytown hospital. She was 76.
Mrs. Moore had resided in Marlin most of her life, but had been living with a niece in Baytown for three years because of illness.
She was born Sept. 1, 1896 in the Odds community in Falls County. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Criswell. She married John F. Moore, who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Degree of Honor Society and the First Baptist Church of Marlin.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
