GROESBECK -- Thomas G. Wright, 97, of Groesbeck, a veteran of the Spanish - American War, died Friday morning in a Groesbeck nursing home.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Kibler Chapel, Richard Williams officiating. Burial will be in the Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Wright was born in Welburn. He was a farmer and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Climer of Groesbeck; a brother, Horace Wright of Oklahoma; two sisters, Ozell Dickey of Houston and Florence Perkins of Blooming Grove; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
