Criswell Rites Held For Mexia Woman
Mrs. Sallie Beth Wilson, 92, of Groesbeck, died Tuesday morning in a Mexia hospital. She had been in ill health for several months.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Shelton-Kibler Funeral Home Chapel, Minister Malcom Smith officiating. Interment was in Criswell Cemetery southeast of Mart.
Mrs. Wilson was born Dec. 18, 1878, in Arkansas. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are one daughter, Mrs. Bertie Tatum of Mexia; one stepson, Kenneth Wilson of George West; two step-daughters, Mrs. Edith Oates of Port Arthur and Mrs. Merle Leach of Houston; 13 grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
