Willie Clinton Mitchell
January 27, 1929 -January 26, 2007
Willie Clinton Mitchell, 77, of Mart, passed away Friday, Jan. 26, 2007, at a local hospital.
Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, at the Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel.
Willie was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Thornton, Texas, to William C. and Dorothy (Taylor) Mitchell.
He married Jean Walts on Nov. 28, 1951, in Marlin. He worked for Brown and Root Construction Company as a pipe fitter.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Jean Mitchell of Mart; daughter, Cathy Davis of Marlin;
sons, Ricky Mitchell and wife, Linda of Delaware, and Spence Mitchell of Delaware; sister, Betty Young of Austin; brothers, Robert Mitchell, Benny Mack Mitchell, Slim Mitchell, David Mitchell, James Mitchell and Mike Mitchell; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Family has requested no flowers, and a contribution may be made to Criswell Cemetery Association.
