Betsy Jean Mitchell
July 7, 1933 - September 17, 2008

Jean Mitchell, 75, of Mart, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2008, at a local hospital.A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel.

Jean was born July 7, 1933, in Criswell, Texas, to Arley and Linnie Pelma (Stone) Walts. She married Willie Clinton Mitchell on Nov. 28, 1951, in Marlin. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Willie, on Jan. 26, 2007.

She is survived by daughter, Cathy Davis of Marlin; sons, Spence Mitchell of Mart,and Ricky Mitchell and wife, Linda of Delaware; brother, Wayne Walts; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
