Barry S. Hartnett
April 26, 1949 – July 21, 2025

Barry Stone Hartnett was born April 26, 1949 in McLennan County, Texas, and passed away July 21, 2025 in Fannin County, Texas, at the age of 76. He will be missed by many friends and family members.

Barry was involved with the Criswell Cemetery Association for many years. He served as a Director for 25 years (1995-1998 and 2003-2025), as President for 2 years (1996-1998), as Vice-President for19 years (2004-2013 and 2015-2025), and as an Alternate Trustee for 10 years (2015-2025).Barry also mowed the Criswell cemetery for 8 years (2016-2024).

Some of Barry’s family buried at Criswell Cemetery are: his mom, Mary Opal Stone Boone, and step-dad, Claude Wallace Boone; grandparents Henry Fields Stone and Gertrude Bowers Stone; great-grandparents William Henley Stone and Sarah Alice Smith Stone; Aaron Newton Bower and Mary Magdalene Walts Bower; and great-great-grandfather Edward D. Walts.
