Jack D. Broxton To Be Buried at Criswell Cemetery
 

Jack D. Broxton, age 45, died at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 9, in a Houston hospital.  He had been ill since January.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday with burial in Criswell Cemetery near Mart.

Broxton was born June 25, 1923, at Big Hill Community near Mart, the son of the late James B. Broxton Sr. and Mary Hammrick Broxton.  He was a veteran of World War II.  He had made his home in Houston for several years.

Surviving are five brothers, Dale of Green Bay, Wis., James, serving in Vietnam, Fred of Odds, Julius of Bryan, and Alva of Waco; two sisters, Mrs. Ann McWhorter of Houston and Mrs. Julia Walts of Jewett.
