Mrs. Wm. N. Stone Buried at Criswell
Mrs. William N. (Mina Mae) Stone, 74, of Route 1, Marlin, died Wednesday morning, Feb. 24, at a Marlin hospital.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Adams Funeral Home Chapel in Marlin, with Larry Briggs officiating. Burial was at Criswell Cemetery near Marlin.
Mrs. Stone was born Aug. 15, 1913, in Callahan County, to Jessie F. Ray and Odie Mae Williams Ray. She was married to William N. (Doodle Bug) Stone on Aug. 19, 1933. She lived and farmed in Limestone and Falls counties, mainly in the Criswell and McClanahan communities.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, Winfred N. Stone of Waco, Aubrey B. Stone of McClahahan and Keith Stone and Terry W. Stone, both of Georgetown; two daughters, Jo Ann Milnes of Marlin and Mrs. Gene (Nelda) Brown of McClanahan; five brothers, Johnny E. Ray of Marlin, Lester H. Ray, Ernest Glenn Ray and W. L. Ray, all of Houston, and J. Kenneth Ray of Pittsburgh; four sisters, Thelma Morgan of Marlin, Laurene Barosky of Nanty Glo, Pa., Lois Alcott of Huntsville, Ala., and Wanda Havranek of Waco; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
