Lois Jeanette Harrell

Lois Jeanette Erskine Harrell, 95, passed away Friday, September 27 in Fort Worth.
In February Lois moved permanently to Granbury from Brady, Texas and was living at The Oaks.
She was born February 7, 1918 in Marlin, Texas, to Clint Erskine and Bessie Criswell Erskine and grew up in the nearby Odds community graduating from Thornton High School. Lois was a long-time resident of Kerrville, and she was happiest when volunteering at Trinity Baptist Church.
Before moving to Kerrville and ultimately to Granbury, she lived in Houston and was a homemaker and mother to the son and daughter she dearly loved. Lois became an associate at Foleys (Macys) working there 22 years in sales and collections.
Lois is survived by son, James E. Harrell and wife Glenda, of Granbury, Texas; daughter, Jeanette Jordan and husband V. Murray Jordan, of Brady, Texas. She is also survived by three grandsons: Daren Harrell and wife Irina; Daniel Harrell and wife Annette; and Justin Snider and wife Ashley, and great-grandchildren: Daren, Nicholas, Maxwell; Grace, Aidan, Adelaide; Matthew and Landry.
A Christian memorial service for family and friends is planned.
