Thomas Criswell, Jr. Graveside Services Held April 22
Thomas Ellsberry Criswell, Jr., 88, of Marlin passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2006 in Limestone Medical Center.
Graveside services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, in Criswell Cemetery with Bro. Andy Bratcher officiating.
Thomas was born November 5, 1917 in Odds, Falls County, Texas to Thomas and Willie May (Sparks) Criswell, Sr. He was a prominent farmer and rancher in the Odds area and member of the First Baptist Church of Marlin.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Cara Criswell and daughter-in-law, Judy Criswell.
Survivors include his son Thomas Edward Criswell of Ft. Parker; granddaughter, Connie Davis and husband Alfred Davis of Thornton; grandson, Terry Criswell and wife Emily Criswell of Kansas City, MO; nephew Jim Criswell and wife Jill Criswell of San Antonio; niece, Martha and husband David Sanders of Okmulgee, OK; and numerous great-grandchildren.
God bless T. E. Criswell. May he find rest in the arms of our Lord and Savior.
