MRS. T. E. "CARRA" CRISWELL
Mrs. T. E. (Carra) Criswell of Marlin died Monday, June 27, at Falls Community Hospital. She was 81.
Services were held Wednesday, June 29, 1994, at 10 a.m. at Adams Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. A.A. Bratcher and the Rev. John Jenkins officiating. Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery.
Mrs. Criswell was born June 11, 1913, in Moran, to Ivan and Tommie Hunt Fincher. She married Thomas Ellsberry Criswell on August 25, 1945, in Breckenridge, Texas. She had been a Marlin resident for the last 10 years moving from the Odds community. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marlin.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Ellsberry Criswell, Jr., of Marlin; a son, Thomas Edward Criswell of Cheyenne, Wyoming; a brother, Warren Fincher of Moran, Texas; a sister, Flora Kelly of Pasadena, Texas; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
