Services for James B. Broxton to Be Held Thursday Morning
Funeral services for James B. Broxton, 77, who passed away Tuesday, June 16, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. D. G. McWhorter, in Pasadena, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Criswell Community House. Officiating will be Rev. Joe Walts.
The Criswell Community House is located between Otto and Odds, some 4 or 5 miles southeast of Otto, and is a part of the old Criswell school that has been remodeled. Directions can be obtained in Otto.
Mr. Broxton is survived by six sons, Julius of Mart, Alvie of Waco, Fred of Otto, James of Fort Smith, Ark., Jack of Los Angeles, Calif., and Dale of the U. S. Navy; two daughters, Mrs. T. E. Walts of Jewett and Mrs. D. G. McWhorter of Pasadena; a brother, George, and two sisters, Mrs. Nora Tallie of Waco and Miss Brady Broxton of Waco; 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
