Benjamin Broxton
Benjamin Broxton, 81, of Waco passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2002, at a Waco hospital. Services were held Thursday at Littlepage Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Heyduck officiating. Burial followed at the Criswell Cemetery. A U.S. Army Guard from Fort Hood participated in the burial services.
Mr. Broxton was born September 25, 1920, at Big Hill, Texas, to Jim and Mary Broxton. For 30 years he served with the U.S. Army, in which he was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Viet Nam.
His survivors include his son, Perry Broxton of Colorado Springs, Colorado; his three brothers, Alva Broxton of Waco, Fred Broxton of Mart, and Dale Broxton of Whitney; and two grandchildren.
