Fred Broxton
Fred Broxton, 92, of Mart passed away Friday, October 11, 2002, in a Mart nursing home. Services were at 3 p.m. Sunday at Littlepage Funeral Home with Travis Smith, minister, officiating. Burial was at Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Broxton was born to Jim and Emma Broxton on November 23, 1909 at Big Hill, Texas. For many years he was employed with road maintenance for Falls County. He was a Baptist.
His survivors include his wife, Edna Broxton of Mart; his daughters, Mrs. Bill (Melba) Dodson of Mart, Jean Briggs, and Betty Motl; his son, David Broxton; his brothers, Alva Broxton of Waco and Dale Broxton of Whitney; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
