Stephen Earl Zucknick
January 18, 1954 - June 5, 2020

Stephen Earl Zucknick, 66, of Taylor passed away at his home on Friday, June 5, 2020.

Stephen was born on January 18, 1954 to Eugene Otto and Janie Mae Poldrack Zucknick. He graduated in 1972 from Taylor High School and in 1975 from Temple Junior College with an Associates Degree in Drafting. On April 9, 1977, he married Molly Danette Stone and they were blessed with two children. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his three grandchildren.

Stephen is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene & Janie; sister, Henrietta Zucknick Deming; and brother-in-law, Gerry Deming.

Stephen is survived by his wife of 43 years, Molly, of Taylor; son, Stephen Daniel Zucknick and wife Elisabeth Henderson Zucknick of Thrall; daughter Amy Zucknick Cardona and husband Steven Luis Cardona of San Antonio; grandchildren, Daniel James Zucknick, Logan Alexander Zucknick, and Delaina Elliott Cardona; sisters, Linda Zucknick Rychlik and husband Louis of Taylor and Patti Zucknick of Montgomery; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loved ones.

At the family’s request, services will be held privately.

Pallbearers are Greg Hidalgo, Michael Janek, David Kaatz, Trey Krueger, Larry Rhinehart, Luke Schernik, Kendall Stone, and Robert Stone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Criswell Cemetery Association 1400 E. Navarro Ave, Mart, Texas 76664 or Sacred Heart School 1007 Trail St, Floresville, Texas 78114.
