Joan D. Walts

Joan D. Walts, 53, passed away Friday, April 14 at a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Monday, April 17 at Criswell Cemetery with the Rev. Billy Lambert officiating.

Joan was born Sept. 23, 1946 in Otto, Texas. She worked at Plantation Food for 24 years and was a member of Victory Tabernacle Church.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paxton and Dickie Walts; and two sisters, Jenell Vokac and Sondra Walts.

She is survived by two sisters, Bestine Youngblood of Glen Rose and Nyla Holmes of Lindale; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
