Arley W. Walts
BEN HUR -- Arley W. (Stinger) Walts, 78, of Ben Hur, died Friday at a Waco hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel at Mart, Minister Olen Adams officiating. Burial will be in Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Walts was born Feb. 20, 1907, in Limestone County. He was a retired farmer. He was married to Linnie Stone in 1929, in Otto.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Arley Wayne Walts of Waco; a daughter Mrs. Willie (Betsy Jean) Mitchell of Spring; three brothers, W. E. Walts of Hurst, James Franklin Walts of Freeport and David Walts of Houston; six sisters, Ruby Vargas of Laredo, Patsy Ruth Tucker of Pasadena, Maxine Glanz of Waco, Janell Morgan of Houston, and Dorothy Doty and Peggy Mitchell, both of Bay City; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
