Death Claims Resident of Stranger Community
Funeral Services Announced with Burial in Criswell Cemetery
R. H. Steele died at his home in the Stranger community early Thursday.
Born April 3, 1861, deceased was 73 years of age. He had resided in that section for many years, being engaged in farming pursuits. He was a Baptist, having been a member of the Criswell church 31 years.
Surviving deceased are his wife, Mrs. Annie Steele; a son, Kearney Steele of Kosse; a daughter, Mrs. B. C. Vinzant of Groesbeck; and a sister, Mrs. Flora Vaughn.
Funeral services were announced for nine a.m. Friday at the family residence with last rites in charge of Rev. Yell of Kosse and burial in the Criswell cemetery.
Pall bearers are R. R. Erskine, Robert Erskine, Pete Dickey, H. E. Kling, Grady Fairbairn, Lloyd Coleman.

Funeral Services Held at Home With Burial in Criswell Cemetery
Funeral services for R. H. Steele, who died at his home in the Stranger community, were held at the family residence at nine a.m. Friday with burial in Criswell cemetery. Rev. Yell of Kosse conducted the last rites.
Relatives attending the services included W. J. Steele and family, A. J. Eaves and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Eaves of Marlin and Maurice Steele of Temple.
