August 15, 1921 - December 01, 2010
Mary Helen Sanders, 89, of Riesel, passed away Wednesday, December 1 in Gholson. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday, December 4 at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel with Rusty Kwast and Sam Armstrong officiating. Burial will be at Mart City Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, December 3 at the funeral home.
Mary was born August 15, 1921 in Otto, Texas to Ed and Mary (Chapman) Schneider. She was a member of Northside Church of Christ, the Mary West Chapter U.D.C. and was a Sunday School Teacher at LaVega Church of Christ and then Northside Church of Christ for over 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband Nathan Edward Sanders in 2006 and her son Nathan Larry Sanders on June 4, 2010.
Survivors include her daughter Carylon Orum of Riesel; daughter in law Kay Sanders of Nevada; sisters Vanita Read and Juliette Koehne both of Mart; brother Charles Schneider of Ft. Worth; 4 grandchildren Nate, Julie, Christi and Valerie, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nate Sanders, Calvin Sanders, Lee Sanders, Kevin Wollard, Edward Schneider and Paul Orum.
