Final Rites Held For Mrs. McClane
Mrs. Bertha Estelle McClane, 81, of Mart, died Wednesday afternoon, March 2, at a Waco nursing home.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel in Mart, with the Rev. W. H. Smith officiating. Burial was at Criswell Cemetery, south of Mart.
Mrs. McClane was born Jan.11, 1907, in Oklahoma Territory. She was married to George McClane on Aug. 3, 1930, in Delight, Ark.
Survivors include her husband; four sons, George McClane Jr. and Leland McClane, both of Mart, Cleland McClane of Forreston and William Daniel McClane of Peekskill, N.Y.; a brother Willie Simpson of Murfreesboro, Ark.; 20 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
