Burial Today For Pioneer Falls Woman
MARLIN (SPL) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Henry C. Lawrence of Marlin will be at Adams Chapel at 2:30 p.m. today. Rev. Earl Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Criswell Cemetery.
Mrs. Lawrence died in a Marlin hospital on Friday. She was 72.
Mrs. Lawrence was a housekeeper at Falls Hotel in Marlin for 25 years before she retired in 1955. She was the former Miss Ivy Cooper of Criswell. She married Mr. Lawrence at Otto in 1910. They farmed near Ben Hur until 1929 when they moved to Marlin.
Surviving are her husband; four sisters, Mrs. Lennie Warneke of Waco, Mrs. Birdie Warneke of Garland, Mrs. Cora Curry of California and Mrs. Rosie McCright of Colorado City.
