H. C. Lawrence of Marlin Dies; Rites Wednesday
MARLIN (SPL) -- Henry C. Lawrence, 79, of Marlin, uncle of two Wacoans, died Monday morning in a Marlin hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Adams Funeral Chapel with Rev. T. Miller Smith officiating. Burial will be in Criswell Cemetery, near Marlin.
Mr. Lawrence was born Feb. 9, 1891 in Lee County. He was a service station attendant in Marlin until his retirement several years ago.
Survivors are a half-sister, Mrs. Dorothy Stone of Palestine; and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. W. Jack Purdy of 1903 North Sixth and Miss Connie Ketchersid of 1305 Dartmouth.
