Opal “Gail” Kruger
July 8, 1947 - June 17, 2014
Opal Gail Kruger, 66, of Weatherford, was called home suddenly on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
Celebration of Gail’s Life Funeral Service: 3 p.m. Friday, June 20th at Lake Shore Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive visitors in Waco one hour prior to the service.
Graveside services: 11 a.m. Saturday, June 21st at Fairview Cemetery in Millsap, Parker County.
Gail was born on July 8, 1947 in Marlin. Gail married the love of her life and moved to Weatherford, where they raised their family. Gail was a devoted wife and loving mother and grandmother. Her faith was strong, and she was loved by all.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Samuel Conor Kruger; and her parents, H.R. “Buddy” and Guy Nell (Shehorn) Collinsworth.
Gail is survived by her husband of 50 years, A.W. Kruger; sons, A.W. Kruger II, Mike Kruger and wife Wendi; daughter, Donna Lucia and husband Tommy Joe; grandchildren, Trey Kruger, Kaleb Kruger and wife Kailin, Chase Lucia, Mikalyn Kruger, Nick Lucia, and Cameron Kruger. Gail is also survived by two sisters, Ray Nell Lewis and husband Sam Ed, and Deborah Sue Kimball; a brother, Enoch Collinsworth and wife Ranelle; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Gail will be missed dearly but we are all assured she is making ready for our arrival to heaven.
