Bobbie Louise Durham
August 16, 1933 - February 24, 2022

Bobbie Louise Price Durham was born August 16, 1933. In Waco, Texas. She graduated from La Vega High school and attended Baylor University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She married her husband, Hugh, in 1952 and actively shared his life and ministry for thirty-eight years. She was an appointed missionary by the Southern Baptist Convention North American Mission Board.

She is survived by her husband John H. (Hugh) Durham, her sons John Stephen (Steve) Durham and wife Elizabeth of Conroe, Texas, and James Price (Jimmy) Durham and wife Valarie of Conroe, Texas; brother Charles Price and wife Dorothy of Daingerfield, Texas; grandchildren Lauren Kleiman and husband Nathan of Austin, Texas, Ryan Durham of Houston, Texas, and Caroline Durham of Alvin, Texas; great-grand-children Campbell Kleiman of Austin, Texas, and Anniston Kleiman of Austin, Texas. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bobbie’s first love and priority was her family. She was first of all wife to her husband and mother to sons, Steve and Jimmy. She was blessed with Elizabeth and Valarie as daughters-in-law; Lauren, Ryan, and Caroline as grandchildren; and Campbell and Anniston as great-grandchildren.

Bobbie loved to travel related to mission projects. Hong Kong, Brazil, Philippines, and other destinations allowed her to “practice” the universal language of music on the piano. Her legacy is her enduring commitment to her Lord, her faith, her friends and her co-workers. She loved and appreciated the many who supported her through thirteen years of having dementia. Bobbie’s new address is HEAVEN.

The family acknowledges the exceptional care by Harmony Assisted Living.
