Rhonda (Afinowicz) Messman Downes, 64, of Marlin passed away Saturday, June 13, 2020 at her residence. The family will be having a private service at a later date.
Mrs. Downes was born on September 23, 1955 in Marlin, Texas to Leon and Bettye (Lucas) Afinowicz.
She lived in Marlin the majority of her life. Her parents preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband; Gary W. Downes of Marlin, sons; Brian Messman, of Marlin, Colby Downes, of Marlin, daughter; Kelly Flaugher and her husband, David, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, brothers; Rickey Afinowicz, of Marlin, Jackie Afinowicz and his wife, Tracy, of Marlin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
