Jack Frank Dodd Jr.
March 3, 1947 - December 26, 2010
Jack Frank Dodd Jr., 63, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2010, at his home. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 29, at Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday evening at Pecan Grove Funeral Home.
Jack was born March 3, 1947, in Waco, to the late Jack Frank Dodd Sr. and the late Dorothy Matthews Dodd. He married Dinah Densman Dodd October 20, 1967. Jack served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1972, before beginning a career in automotive service. He worked at Bird-Kultgen Ford, Waco Dodge, and ran his own automotive repair business on Loop 340 in Robinson.
Jack is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dinah; daughter, Wendy Thurmond and husband, Dr. John Thurmond; son, Michael Dodd and wife, Melinda Dodd; brother, Troy Dodd and wife, Melinda Curnutt Dodd; and six grandchildren, Johnny, Sydney, Kenny, Maggie, Samantha, and Jack.
The family wishes to thank Providence Hospice of Waco for their faithful care and service to Jack in his time of need.
