Services for Mrs. Lilly Mae Shannon to Be Held Thursday
Funeral services for Mrs. Lilly Mae Shannon, 75, who passed away at her home, 409 South Smyth St., Wednesday at 1:30 a.m., will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Littlepage Funeral Chapel. Interment in Criswell cemetery. Mrs. Shannon, who had resided in Mart for the past 2½ years, passed away after a short illness. She had resided in the Criswell and Otto communities for many years. She was a devout member of the First Baptist Church of Mart and was honored and respected by all who knew her.
Deceased is survived by a son, A. W. Clemmons, Route 2, Otto; four daughters, Mrs. W. O. Denton of Kaufman, Mrs. Ben Sawyers of Ben Hur, Mrs. B. B. Rosser of Ada, Okla., and Mrs. E. L. Drummonds of Houston; and 15 grandchildren.
