Services Held Today For J. L. Caddell

Jasper L. Caddell, 63, of Otto, died in his home about 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Littlepage Funeral Chapel at Mart. Rev. Harold Orr and Rev. John Harper officiated. Burial was in Criswell Cemetery, near Otto.

Mr. Caddell was born in Grimes county. He moved to Falls county in 1905. He married the former Alta Bower in 1926. Mr. Caddell was a farmer, rancher and barber. He operated a general store in Otto for 20 years. He was a member of the Perry Methodist Church and Mart Masonic Lodge.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Dwain Caddell of Otto; two brothers, A. G. Caddell of Sundown and J. H. Caddell of Levelland; five sisters, Mrs. A. J. Wolfe of Riesel, Mrs. Inez Williams of Waco, Mrs. H. L. Dewdeall of Odessa, Mrs. Alvin Henderson of Hanford, Calif., Mrs. O. W. Henderson of Houston; four grandchildren.
