Gilynn Stone Bucy, 79, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 14, 2016 in Criswell Cemetery with Mr. David Johnson officiating.
Mrs. Bucy was born on February 18, 1937 in Criswell, Texas to Gile Borden and Mildred Elizabeth Wright Stone. She was a wonderful person with a big heart and would do anything for anyone; she was always there for her family. Mrs. Bucy loved visiting with her family and friends and talking on the phone. She retired from J.C. Penney. Mrs. Bucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim Bucy; sister, Norma Sue Stone Ethridge; son, Eddie Lynn Hill on April 3, 2014 and nephew, Elton Ethridge.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Elizabeth Richardson; brother, Charles Edward Stone and his wife, Jeanette; grandchildren, Aaron Majewski and Amber Collins; nieces, Nancy Stone and Diana Baker and nephew, Kyle Stone.
