Algie Hogan Breed
MARLIN -- Algie Hogan Breed, a Reagan rancher and cotton ginner, died Wednesday at his home. He was 81.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Criswell Church, the Rev. Jerry House officiating. Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Breed was born Sept. 17, 1909, in Eastland County, and married Shirley Ora Bower Oct. 27, 1930, in Marlin. They lived in Marlin until moving to Reagan in 1950. Mr. Breed was a member of Reagan United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Breed of Bryan; a daughter, Mrs. Ava Gene Weathers of Austin;
a brother, Aubrey Breed of Victoria; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
