Graveside Services Held April 12 for James E. Walts
James Edward Walts of Groesbeck passed away Monday April 9, 2007 in Hillcrest Hospital in Waco.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, April 12 at Criswell Cemetery with Lester Adams of Concord Baptist Church of Bellmead officiating.
Mr. Walts was born June 26, 1936 to Tom Ed and Julia Minerva (Broxton) Walts in Davis Prairie, Texas, who preceded him in death. He was a heavy equipment operator and had worked for Limestone County Road and Bridge.
He is survived by three sons: Eddie Walts of Mart, Curtis Walts and Kenneth Walts of Riesel; two sisters: Rella Dale Webb of Groesbeck, Emma Lee Thomas of Robinson; brother, Larry Walts of Axtell; seven grandchildren: Christal Walts and Andy Walts of Mart, Robin Horton, Rachael Walts, Mary Walts, Morgan Walts, all of Riesel, Kenneth James Walts of Hewitt; two great-grandchildren, Jayme Olivarez and Sydnie Walton of Riesel.

James Edward Walts, 70, of Groesbeck, passed away April 9 at a local hospital. Graveside services were held on Thursday, April 12 at Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Walts was born June 26, 1936 to Tom Ed and Julia Walts and worked most of his life at Gifford Hill in Waco.
Survivors include three sons: Eddie Walts and wife Pat of Mart; Curtis Walts and wife Donna of Riesel and Kenneth Walts and wife Trenda of Riesel. Two sisters: Rella Dale Webb of Groesbeck and Emma Lee Thomas of Robinson. One brother, Larry Walts and wife Sue of Axtell. Seven grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
