Vernon Ray Tatum
DONIE - Vernon Ray Tatum of Donie, a U. S. Army veteran, died Sunday at a Marlin hospital. He was 56.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Dean Easterling officiating. Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery.
Mr. Tatum was born April 9, 1936 in Jewett. He married Beverly Wilson on May 13, 1982 in Angleton.
Mr. Tatum was a Methodist.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Thomas Lee Tatum of California, Robert Troy Musgrove of Japan and Kyle Ray Tatum of Donie; three daughters, Deborah Garcia and Tracy Musgrove, both of Freeport, and Wendy Jo Musgrove of Donie; three brothers, Henry Tatum and Edgar Tatum, both of Waco, and Billy Joe Tatum of Houston; and six grandchildren.
