Mrs. Thelma Walts
Mrs. Thelma Walts, 76, of Bellmead died Saturday at a Waco nursing home.
Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Bellmead Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Billy Joe Lambert and the Rev. Thomas Robertson officiating. Burial will be at Criswell Cemetery.
Mrs. Walts was born Feb. 26,1911, in Criswell. She worked in the laundry at Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center.
Survivors include five daughters, Jenell Archer of Bellmead, Bestine Youngblood of Glen Rose, Sondra Ann Walts of Bellmead, Nyla Holmes of McKinney and Joan Jurjev of Bellmead; two sons, John Paxton Walts of Uvalde and Alvie Darvin Walts of Dallas; seven sisters, Alta Caddell of Otto, Gertrude Jerigan of Bonham, Ora Breed of Reagan, Nell Moore of Marlin, Frances Weaver of Pharr, Betty Barker of Bryan and Ruby Hill of Rosenburg; a brother, Neil Bowers of Dallas; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
