Patricia Helen Weathers
March 21, 1947 - January 29, 2019
Patricia was called home on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 10:34 a.m. She passed at her home in Belton, Texas. She took her last breath in bed, with her sister, Kathleen, and her husband, Stephen, by her side, as her pastor, Chase Bowers, was praying over her. She passed away after a short battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and David, and her mother, Ruth.
She is survived by her husband Stephen, daughter Cherish, son Michael and his wife Megan, her sister Kathleen and her husband Jim, and her sister-in-law Sue. She was born in Duluth, Minnesota on March 21, 1947, then moved to Austin, Texas when she was 2 years old. She graduated from the ACC Nursing school with honors at the top of her class at the age of forty-six. She worked as a nurse at Brackenridge Children’s Hospital for several years before moving to Belton, Texas with her family. She and Stephen retired in 2015. She was a devout Christian, devoted nurse, whimsical sister, compassionate mother, and caring wife. Above all, she was one of the most kind and loving souls to ever walk this earth.
Services will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 3220 S 31st St. Temple, Texas. Visitation will be February 1st from 6 - 8 p.m. The funeral will be held February 2nd at 2 p.m. with graveside service to follow at 4:30 p.m. at Criswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Southworth, Matthew Weathers, Bobby Wayne Lockhart, Luis Suarez, Issac Weathers.
