Funeral Services for Wm. H. Walts Held Monday Afternoon
William Henry Walts, 74, native of Limestone County, died Sunday morning in Hillcrest Hospital, Waco.
Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Monday at Criswell School, with a nephew, Rev. Joe Walts Jr., of Mertens officiating. Burial was in Criswell cemetery.
Deceased was born in Limestone County and had lived there all of his life. He had many friends who will regret to hear of his death.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, A.W. Walts of Groesbeck, W. E. Walts of Hurst, J. F. Walts of Freeport and David Walts of Ben Hur; seven daughters, Mrs. Ruby Vergas of Laredo, Mrs. Lois Williams of Waco, Mrs. Patsy Tucker of Kansas City, Mo., Mrs. Maxine Glanz of Waco, Mrs. Peggy Mitchell and Miss Dorothy Walts of Houston, and Miss Janell Walts of Ben Hur; four brothers, Tom Ed Walts of Jewett, Jim Walts, Waco, W. F. and Joe Walts Sr. of Mart; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bowers of Otto, Mrs. Ellen Foreman of Thornton and Mrs. Kate Middleton of San Angelo.
