Countywide Graduation Program Held in Marlin
Seventh Grade Graduates Receive Their Certificates at Exercises.
Countywide seventh grade graduation exercises for Falls county schools were held in the Marlin school auditorium at 10 o’clock this morning.
The program opened with the audience singing “America.” Miss Mary Shipp Sanders, chief rural school supervisor of the Texas department of education, delivered the commencement address. “The Eyes of Texas” was sung by members of the graduation class. Miss Lois Souther, county superintendent, presided and presented certificates to the graduates, Rev. Gassner of Cottonwood gave the benediction.
Graduates receiving diplomas with schools indicated were:
