Criswell Chirps
To The Democrat:
Our farmers are about through planting corn. Some talk of planting cotton.
Gardens nearly all got killed.
Miss Mattie Boyd visited Mart Friday.
Mrs. Lee Lawrence spent the night with Mrs. Grady Blakely Saturday night.
Arthur Clines and wife, Grady Blakely and Misses Pauline Blakely, Dora Jackson and Lizzie Clines visited Mrs. Lawrence Ferrell. Had an enjoyable time.
J. M. Clines of Science Hall is visiting friends and relatives in Waco.
A mad dog passed through our community Saturday evening and created some excitement among women and children.
Miss Sophia Wolf has been very ill, but we are glad to say, she is improving.
Grady Blakely visited Science Hall Thursday.
J. H. Thompson and family visited Mrs. Thompson’s mother last Sunday.
