Big Creek Breezes.
To The Democrat:
The farmers are up with their work.
We had a good rain in our community and it was greatly appreciated.
The frost hurt the farmers’ corn crops and the good wives’ gardens.
Miss Mattie Boyd and pupils are cleaning off the cemetery and it is looking pretty.
We are glad to say that Sophie Wolf is improving nicely.
Miss Pauline Blakely visited her sister last week at Ben Hur.
Mrs. N. J. Cooper is staying a few days with her daughter, Mrs. Warneke.
We are sorry to hear of the death of Henry Kuhne’s wife. We all can sympathize with him.
Grandma Lynch is a little better at this writing, and we hope her an easier life than she has had for the last six months.
