Elton Ethridge, 45, of Marlin, passed away peacefully in a Temple hospital on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Criswell Cemetery with Mr. Roger Nutt officiating.
Mr. Ethridge was born on January 7, 1969 in Fort Worth, Texas to Johnny and Norma Sue (Stone) Ethridge. He married Sara Holdbrook on January 17, 2003 in Marlin and they celebrated over 18 wonderful years together. Mr. Ethridge was a rancher, loved to fish, hunt and to spend time with his kids. His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife; Sara Ethridge of Marlin, daughters; Ashley Umphress of Burleson and Emily Ethridge of Marlin, son; Jacob Ethridge of Marlin, step-son; Braxton Rutledge of San Marcos, sister; Diana Baker of Fort Worth, aunt; Gilynn Stone Bucy of Waco and uncle; Charlie Stone of Robinson.
Pallbearers will be Dean Tate, Bobby Piske, Matt Yezak, Edd Nehring, Jody Grams and Mike Milnes.
