CRISWELL CHIRPS
To The Democrat:
We were visited last night by a big blue norther, and a nice little rain, which was appreciated by all.
The good old farmers are preparing their land for another harvest. Oats are looking pretty. Also the
turnip patches are looking good.
Henry Lawrence went hunting Tuesday.
Mrs. N. J. Cooper went to Otto Saturday morning.
W. W. Cooper has been on the sick list for a month. He is slowly improving.
Mrs. Mollie Pringle of Mexia was visiting Mr. and Mrs. Lynch last Tuesday.
Grandma Lynch is worse with the rheumatism.
Misses Della and May Criswell were visiting Miss Bessie Criswell Sunday.
Our school is progressing nicely with Miss Hallie Moore, teacher.
We are sorry to say that M. Berry is going to move soon. Mr. Berry, come back and see us.
Oh, my! Don’t the time fly! Another year almost gone. Let’s look back and see how much good we have done this year for our friends and the Blessed Master. Let’s all try to live a better Christian in 1910 than we have been in 1909.
So I wish the editor of our paper and its many readers a merry X-mas and bright new year.
Behind-the-Time.
