Thirty-First Annual Memorial Service
The thirty-first annual Criswell Cemetery Association meeting was held on Sunday, June 13, 1982.
The meeting was opened by J. E. Ray, president. The minutes were read of last year’s meeting and directors meeting held during the year.
The mortuary list was given by Mrs. Paul Rucker. Those deceased during the past year were Raymond Brown, Russell Smith, Eva Grisham, Henry Vogel and Beth Stone.
There was some discussions on building repair, such as painting or siding. A committee will be appointed to take care of the building repair.
The speaker, Roy Glenn Norman, led songs and spoke to us on what heaven would be like. Special music was provided by Linda and Donna Sue Norman and pianist, Michael Anderson. The meeting adjourned with prayer for the noon meal.
The directors met in the afternoon. Three new directors were Charles Edward Stone, Winfred Stone and T. E. Criswell. George H. Stone was elected President. A building committee of Charles E. Stone, George H. Stone and Leldon Grisham was appointed.
